ABOUT THE CLUB

The Eastern Swans are celebrating 50 years in 2020.  The Eastern Swans have always been and still are, very much a family friendly club - from our under 6s right through to our seniors footballers. We have a strong finals showing, with our Reserves grade taking out the 2020 premiership and our Seniors have made the last 3 Grand Final's.

We have a strong focus on the upcoming season, and want to work hard to bring the Premiership cup back to Rogers Oval in 2021 where it belongs - 'Eastern Swans are going ahead'

LIFESTYLE

‍What more can we say other than Footy in Paradise!!! We really do live, work and play in one of the most beautiful places. Mackay is also home to Australia's longest stretch of sub-tropical rainforest, not to mention some of the most beautiful beaches.  

Within 45 minutes you can fish from a tropical reef and then be in a rainforest stream, a bluewater river, a sandy estuary or an inland dam, the Mackay Region is well known nationally as one of the best fishing locations on the east coast of Australia. There are also plenty of cafe's, pubs and waterfront dining there really is something for everyone, no matter what you like to do to unwind.

JOB PROSPECTS

The Eastern Swans are lucky to have some incredible sponsors, which provides us with access to many industries when helping new players find work. The Mackay region is well known for its Mining Industry, and does offer above award wage in many industries and has on offer many employment opportunities.

RELOCATION ASSISTANCE

Relocation assistance for prospective players is not available in monetary form, however club members would be available to assist with moving you into your new place. We would also use our Social Media platforms to help find accommodation, and assist in any way required to help players settle in. We would love you to come and be apart of the Swans family!
