About 'the Roos'

Brothers Australian Football Club (affectionately known as ‘the Roos’) was established in 1981. In its nearly 40 year history, the club has celebrated great successes and worked through some serious challenges. The Roos teams are well-known for their enthusiasm for the game and for ‘getting around each other’. We are proud of our family-friendly atmosphere and aim to develop good people, not just good players.

Experienced coaching staff instil best practice training techniques and challenge players to reach their full potential.

Taking home premiership flags in 1984, 1986, 1987, 1995, 2005 and 2010, the club is keen to expand its membership and to continue to work hard towards a finals berth in 2020. Junior teams have grown exponentially, which ensures the sustainability of the club’s membership and spirit of camaraderie. No matter your age or ability, Brothers AFC welcomes anyone who loves footy.
